The Ship :

Launched in 1797, the Frigate USS Constellation has a long record of service in war and in peacetime.


In 1842, she was the first US warship to visit China, and later defended the Hawaiian Islands against annexation by the British. Today, she is berthed in Baltimore's inner harbor, where she greets thousands of tourists each year.


This kit is loaded with detail true to the actual ship. It features double plank-on-bulkhead construction with a variety of fine woods and planking strips. Deck and rigging fittings are made of hardwood, brass and cast metal. High-precision laser-cut frames and keel make for easy assembly.

Includes carronades, bronzed metal cannons, rigging line, pre-sewn sails and step-by-step instructions.
